The seminar will take place from the 22nd to the 27th of April 2014, is implemented under action 5.1.(Meetings of Young People and those responsible for Youth Policy) of the European Youth in Action programme and aims on the one hand to conduct a comparative analysis of Youth Policies in different European countries and of the relationship of the young people in Europe with the democratic processes, especially in view of the May 2014 European Elections, and on the other hand to promote the recognition of Youth Work, emphasizing its importance for supporting young people, and especially young people with fewer opportunities, and its contribution to the personal as well as professional development of the young people.
The specific objectives of this project are:
- To analyze how young people in these different countries understand and view European Union issues and policies.
- To promote the recognition of Youth Work and non-formal learning.
- To raise awareness on EU and national Youth Policies.
- To familiarize the participants with the goals of the Europe 2020 strategy.
- To raise awareness on the role that the young people can play as active European Citizens and promote.
- The importance of the participation in the 2014 European Elections.
In this seminar will participate 50 young people from 6 different countries and 6 youth organisations (1 from each country):

- Croatia: EUROPE HOUSE SLAVONSKI BROD
In the conference will participate with presentations and speeches the young participants of the seminar as well as youth policy makers and representatives of youth organisations from Greece and abroad. The programme of the conference will be announced in due course.
